Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun certainly stole the limelight during a school-level cricket match in Mumbai on Monday.
Star Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar surpassed in a school-level cricket match in Mumbai on Monday, October 18th at Sassanian Cricket Club. He scored an unbeaten 45 & also took four wickets to guide his team to victory in a T20 match. Arjun undoubtedly has stolen the attention in a school-level cricket match.
Arjun gave ample signs of his cricketing genes turning in an all-round performance at the district level school tournament. Unlike his legendary father, Arjun bats left handed. He looked elegant in his knock of 45 to emerge as the top scorer in his team’s tally of 112 runs. Executing some brilliant shots, he did show glimpses of his father’s batting style and stroke play with a few typical hits to the fence.

The youngster’s coach Hari Om also admitted that Arjun was a chip off the old block. “He is a promising batsman and is doing well in other areas as well… I see a promising all-rounder in him in future,” he said.
While at the tender age of 13, Sachin captained his school team to victory in the Giles Shield. He scored 3 centuries 158*, 156 and 197 and then in the Harris Shield scored 123, 150 and 276. He scored 9 hundreds, including 2 double hundreds, a total of 2336 runs.
Arjun Tendulkar first made headlines in January 2011, when he made his cricketing appearance at the U-13 level. He played in the Cadency Trophy from MIGC club in Pune.
