The i1 Super Series has a 16 member squad with two cars and they are categorized as eight teams. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and Sanjana Reddy have bought a share of 26% in the i1 Super Series which is owned by Machadar Sports Company.
Apart from Nagarjuna, Shahrukh Khan has bought Mumbai franchise. We have learnt that former Indian Captain Sourav Ganguly (Kolkata), Yuvraj Singh (Chandigarh), Tony Fernandes of Air Asia (Chennai) and Dabur’s Mohit Burman (Delhi) are the front runners in the bid respectively. However, there are no bids for Pune and Bangalore franchises as yet.
