Ramakant Achrekar, the coach of Sachin Tendulkar said that he wants master blaster to play on for some more years.
“I want Sachin to play till the time he is enjoying his game.”
79 year old Achrekar said that he considers himself lucky to have coached Sachin Tendulkar, who is an inspiration to many.
Achrekar was too keen to watch the final match of World Cup at Wankhede stadium ijn Mumbai but he could not as he has been advised by the doctor to take bed rest.
Meanwhile, Sachin also refuted his retirement rumours after clinching the World Cup.
Sachin while talking to reporters on Sunday said that he wants to enjoy India’s victory and does not want to talk about his retirement plans.
He said that it’s the ultimate achievement of his career that he was chasing since last 21 years.
Master Blaster said that he still could not believe that India has become World Champions.
Earlier, speaking in a television programme, World Cup winning captains Imran Khan and Allan Border and legendary Vivian Richards, said a decision on whether to quit the shorter format of the game should be left to Tendulkar.
