Sachin Tendulkar-The Boxer.....???!!!!!

Sachin Tendulkar is fond of Sports since his childhood till date. One of those sports is Boxing, too. Even today, when he is at home with his son Arjun, he loves to play fight-fight or WWE with him. This is now but lets see how much he was fond of fights in his childhood days.

Sachin was a hyperactive child. An unusual mix of school-yard bully & sensitive soul. He stood out among his Friend even at the young age. The unit of 11 buildings in the sahitya sahwas housing complex ( is called "Ushakkal") had by the standards of the crowded metropolis large Playground, all of 30yardby 30 yards. This for Sachin and his close companions constituted the great outdoors.

Childhood photos of sachin, show him with a mass of curly long hair, exuberant & playful. The early neighborhood gang consisted of Avinash Govarikar(Now a Photographer)&Sunil Harse(A Contractor)while Atul Rande(Mumbai Ranji trophy Player)was a friend from playgroup.

The most abiding memory of those childhood days appears to be sachin’s strengths & his fondness for 'FIGHTS". whenever there was a new boy in housing society or school sachin would challenge him physically. And he rarely come out on the losing side. By the time Sachin reached the second Grade, he had achieved the "NOT SMALL" feat for a six-year-old of beating up another boy all of two years older than him. "bashing them up for no reason” was his own Unique way of getting his message across to his peer group, According to Atul Ranade. But he showed sympathy too, though his quality was reserved for animals.Gowarikar summed up the paradox: ‘He was a very kindhearted person. but he was always fascinated with power, speed & things like that."

Though, Sachin is small in height, his built up is really strong. It was evident when recently sachin hit an unbeaten match winning century in Chennai against England and after winning the match Yuvraj Singh tried to lift Sachin but could hold him for hardly 2 seconds. So my advise to the sledgers is "BEWARE OF THIS HIDDEN BOXER!!!!"

HAPPY SACHIN'S CENTURY DAY

WISH YOU ALL SACHIN FANS ANOTHER HAPPY SACHIN'S CENTURY DAY!

SACHIN'S CENTURY ALWAYS MAKES A MATCH AND THE DAY SPECIAL. TODAY WAS ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE SPECIAL DAYS. WHAT AN INNINGS BY THE MASTER! AND WHAT A TIME TO MAKE IT! THREE QUICK WICKETS HAD PUT INDIA ON BACKFOOT AND STILL 270 ODD RUNS WERE REQURED TO AVOID FOLLOW ON.

BATTING FOR ALMOST 9 HOURS IN HOT & HUMID SRI LANKAN CONDITIONS IS NOT AN EASY TASK AND SPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE 37 YEARS OLD AND HAVE PLAYED CRICKET FOR 21 YEARS AT THE HEIGHEST LEVEL. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO KEEP YOURSELF FIT WITHOUT HARDWORK. THERE IS A LOT OF HARDWORK AND EFFORTS SACHIN HAS BEEN PUTING TO STAY FIT.

NOW WHEN THE MATCH IS ALREADY HEADING TOWARDS DRAW, SACHIN'S CRITICS WILL SAY THAT HE SCORED A DOUBLE IN A TAME DRAW BUT THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT THAT WHEN HE CAME TO BAT, INDIA WERE IN A FEAR OF FOLLOW ON & DEFEAT. ANYWAYS, WE SHOULD LEAVE THE CRITICS TO SAY WHATEVER THEY WANT TO SAY.

FOR US SACHINISTS, THIS IS ANOTHER DAY OF CELEBRATION. SO LETS CELEBRATE THE GREAT MAN'S GREAT ACHIEVEMENT AND PRAY TO GOD THAT SACHIN WIN 2011 WORLD CUP FOR INDIA AND KEEPS ON PLAYING FOR YEARS AND YEARS AND YEARS.......TO COME.

Sachin Tendulkar's Passions:Cricket,Cars,Food

Sachin Tendulkar's passions for game of cricket is terrific. Here is one story which shows how much he thinks of cricket. It was debut test of Sachin Tendulkar and also Salil Ankola.

Ankola says:"This was during the sialkot test of the 1989-90 tour of pakistan, which was the tour on which sachin & I made our debuts. At around 11 one night I heard a commotion outside my room. I came out to find sachin being led into his room by Maninder Singh & Raman Lamba. Sachin was walking outside his room in his sleep, asking for the man from malik sports, who was to have deliverd his bats but hadn't. Of course he didn't remember the incident the next day & thought we were pulling his leg."

This shows how much is his obsession for cricket! Even while sleeping, he loves cricket the most. He can not imagine his life without cricket. you can imagine his passions for the cricket by knowing that he will be the first to be involved in any game of Cricket in the dressing room, be it tennis ball cricket & even in those games you will see him with same enthusiasm arranging the fielders. He is close to completing 21 years in international cricket but his passion for the game still keeps on increasing. Even after all these years his enthusiasm is still like a child. He still loves cricket the most & Enjoys every moment on the cricket ground.

Let me write something on a different note, do you know his other passions apart from cricket? He loves good food & cars. He is foody and likes Non-Veg a lot. Fish is his weak point. He even knows how to cook. Sachin thinks he is a very good cook.

His other passion is cars. He has many cars. Not only does he own cars like Merceds Benz & Ferrari but he knows every possible details of those cars. He watches formula-1 races with lots of interest. He also reads magazines on car racing. He loves to get into the detail of the tecnology used in that particular car. The Ferrari is Sachin's most prized possession.

I always try to let people know something new and something more about their Hero. I hope I managed to do it even in this post. Your comments will really help me to know what should I post next.

What makes Sachin Tendulkar the legend?!!!

Sachin Tendulkar is not only a great player but also he is an institute of cricket.some may say him master blaster, some may say little genius, some may say india's pride&some may say him God.

These are just a few nicknames of the legend mating maestro but Have you ever thought what made him such a player?!!here is one of many inspiring stories of Sachin Tendulkar
Tendulkar was 12 or13 years old when he led mumbai under 15 team to ahmedabad. The boys went off to sleep after getting there at around 4:30 in the morning. At 6:00am officials learnt that sachin was missing. The team manager& coach went searching for him &finally found him on the terrace-practising!!he was bouncing the ball of the wall with his left hand and then quickly gripping his bat with his both hands to practise his shots.sleep was not important practice was.And such was his concentration that he failed to notice the presence of the two officials. This was just one of many.It shows how much he is hungry for runs&how much he hate failure.

some may think that it was his initial stage of his career that's why he might be worried of failuer. But those who think that might have forgotten the battle between two great sachin tendulkar Vs Shane warne.

Every one knows how sachin practised to face shane warne coming round the wickets. That practised brought a new shot in cricket world.which was not played
offen."Paddle Swipe" he used it very effectively along with those "charging down strokes" &spinning legend was helpless in that battle.

These are examples how he prepares before the match.how he read the minds of the bowlers &how much competitive he is!!!

"Sachin Tendulkar is god giffted"It is true but there is more of hardwork&decipline which made him A Legend.A True Legend!!!!

When sachin met Bradman- " conversation between 2 legends of the game"

Everyone knows sachin was invited by don bradman to his Adelaide home on his 90th birthday on 27th august 1998.but do you know what was the conversation between 2 legends of the game?????

Read here:

“I was tense. Didn’t know where to begin what to ask.but sir don made us feel easy.he spoke&we listened in awe.” Sachin told sanjay rajan of sportstar(2september 1998)

Sachin said:“bradman spoke about present day game.he watches lot of cricket on television, spokeabout the present day game.he said the standard now very high&competitive&the fielding very good.though he loves test cricket.”

Sachin to bradman: What was your initial movement while playing quick bowling &your approach to spinners?

Bradman: Fast bowler my initial movement was back-and-across& for the spinners an initial front foot movement. Though not a front-foot commitment.

Bradman to sachin: If you moved before the ball left the bowlers hand?

Sachin:I don’t know.
Bradman:I think you do. you begin your movement before the bowler bowls, otherwise you wouldn’t have the time to play the kind of shots you do.

Bradman to sachin:Did you have any coach?

Sachin: I have had 3 caoches.1in school,1at state level&1 at the test level.
Bradman:I didn’t think you were coached because anybody who’s been through coaches is told to play with the left elbow pointed towards modoff.you don’t do that.i didn’t do that.that gives you the flexibility to play in any direction anywhere.

Sachin to Brad man: what was your mental preparation before the big match?

Bradma answer surprised sachin:
I would work in office between 7and 10 in the morning, play the match & go back to work again.

Bradman repeated once again
his observation that sachin was the best batsman In the world at the moment.&the closeste in style to the way he himself had played.he thought that a many contemporarybatsman.lara took more risks.

Warne agreed:
“Yes,he takes more risks.i think I can get him outanytime I want.he has so many openings but with sachin tendulkar the problem is that there are no opening.he can spot the length of a delivery better than any other human being.

Before leaving Sachin told bradman India was scheduled to play a series in Australia in 1999

To which bradman said hopefully I should be able to come &watch.

Who can replace the Master?!!!!!!!!!

India is The Greatest country. We all the indians were and are proud of our Farmers and soldiers "JAY JAWAAN, JAY KISAAN".As the time passes by, we are getting more and more reasons and persons to be proud of and one of those is our own little boy, little master and The God of Cricket, SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR.

It is hard to accept that the 16 years old boy has grown up and is on the verge of the retirement now. Sometimes when the thought of his retirement passes through mind, i feel the world will never be same again, the Cricket will never be same again. The entire stadium watching a test match and supporting India but still waiting for the fall of 2nd indian wicket will never happen again. The cheer from the crowd on arrival of a batsman will never be so loud again and the fall of one person's wicket will never break so many hearts again.

Eventhough so far he hasn't won any World Cup for the nation, he has given much more joy to the nation than winning a world cup. His each and every achievement is celebrated by cricket lovers. Not only achievements, but his every shot has given uncomparable joy. His smile makes the coutry smile & his sadness makes the coutry sad.

I remember one incident of 2003 World Cup when india performed poorly in first two matches and entire nation reacted their anger in the worse manner. In such a situation it was only Sachin Tendulkar who came ahead and appealed the nation for the support and magically the entire nation came supporting the team. Such is the power of his words!

Players will come and go. Somebody may break some of his records but no one can ever reach near the love he has got from the nation. He is not only a perfect batsman or perfect cricketer but also the best humanbeing which is most important. I don't know who said this first but whoever said it, said truth "If Cricket is Religion, Sachin Tendulkar is God."

Do you know the atmosphere in the indian dressingroom after getting elimitated from worldcup 2007?

I want to take you back to that moment when india lost that worldcup. What was your 1st reaction?

(I was crying & i couldn't believe that the world cup that arrived after years of waiting is over for us in just one week. After one week i came out of that shock and said to myself "whatever god does is for batterment and there must be something good in this too and we are not aware of it. who knows india may become no.1 team."

That is what i was thinking and that is what has happened.india is the no.1 test team.I remember that time i was writing a notebook & i wrote "this is not the end this is a new beginning. Surely india will comeback strongly."

This was my reaction...but do you know what was dressingroom atmosphere that day?Read here:

Sachin javascript:void(0)Tendulkar openly shedding tears after the loss to Sri Lanka in worldcup2007
Tendulkar had tears streaming down his cheeks after Munaf Patel was caught on the squareleg fence by Chaminda Vaas. It brought to end India's disastrous chase of Sri Lanka's reasonable target and more or less shut them out of the 2007 World Cup.
Tendulkar, first tried to control his emotions but unable to do so, locked himself in the bathroom lest he made a spectacle of self in the public.
A couple of junior cricketers in the side were so taken aback by the sight that they themselves started to cry.
It's little secret that Tendulkar desperately wanted to do well in this World Cup and be a part of the winning team. The "little master" in his glorious career more or less achieved everything he set out to do, but his World Cup dream is unlikely to be realized now.
Young fast bowler S Sreesanth's emotions got better of him as he too broke into tears. He was consoled by close friend Robin Utthapa, who on his part was so nervous and upset that he kept drinking cups of coffee. Sreesanth just couldn't stop crying and kept saying: "Why God did this to us?"
While Tendulkar and Sreesanth gave vent to their emotions, fast bowler Zaheer Khan broke a chair in the dressing room. After making a spectacular comeback to the Indian team, Zaheer's colleagues said that he was desperate to make amends from the last World Cup final where he let his adrenalin get better of him.
Rahul Dravid, by all accounts, was himself tearful while Sourav Ganguly, behind his glasses, sat stunned on his seat.

Everyone was upset but public reaction was more painful than the loss. Burning the poster of players & all. I don't like it. Players tries their best but afterall cricket is a game one will win, one will lose. I still feel what media shows is not the full picture. 50,60 or 100 people doesn't represent the country. There are lots of people who support the team in even difficult time.

What you readers were feeling when india was elimintaed from the world cup? and what do you think of my openion.

thanks for reading and more thanks for comenting.
