Sachin Tendulkar Roars,as India Win.

India completed their first ever series whitewash of Australia as Sachin Tendulkar led them to a comprehensive seven-wicket victory over the Australia in the second and final cricket Test here today.

Cheteshwar Pujara came good on Test debut, his 72 steering India to a 2-0 series win over Australia in Bangalore, where India were winless since 1995.

The finishing touches were applied by Sachin Tendulkar, unbeaten with a brisk 53 having made 214 in the first innings to set up this seven-wicket win.Sachin took the last two runs & then Roars...!! A rare gesture of so much emotion from the little big man. Rahul just smiles. The win was brought up by a paddle-sweep. Tendulkar ran hard and turned for the second run. He completed the winning run, turned around, lifted his arms aloft. And roared. He then has a chat with Ponting and both smile. It's a pretty lengthy chat actually. Ponting smiles and puts his hand around Tendulkar's back. The rest of the players shake hands with each other. Rahul and Ponting too have word with each other. Rahul says: "All the best for Ashes, mate!". Rahul gets across, high-fives Sachin and hugs him. And as they walk away, they have a look at each other and smile. The dressing room erupts. In the stands, Anil Kumble high-fives with the selectors. Narendra Hirwani too was there.

Sachin who scored 214 in 1st inning of this test match and 53NO. in second inning got Man of the Match Award & for his 403 runs in the series with an average of 134.33 he got Man of the Series Award also.

Sachin Speaks after Man of the Match & Man Of The Series Awards:

"This series was a fantastic one. I would like to congratulate the whole team, starting from Laxman who helped us win. Along with Ishant Sharma. Also the bowlers. It was obviously going to be difficult on a track going up and down. Pujara showed tremendous character and his partnership with Vijay was very crucial one." On his own batting this year: "I don't count. Let the others count. I just want to continue scoring. Normally, there is not much crowd for Test cricket, thanks to Bangalore for coming out. You guys made the victory sweeter."

"Vijay has always done well whenever given opportunities. He carried on this time. It helps that he was batting with Tendulkar who is a great reader of the game and advices,"Dhoni said.
